The launch site is on Beech Road, Ringwood, NJ.  (NOT Beech COURT if you are using a GPS :-)

The reservoir is a horseshoe shaped body of water approximately 4000m long, surrounded on all sides by Ringwood State Park land.  Recreation is allowed on the reservoir, but motorboats are limited to 10hp, which means there are virtually never any wakes and no jet skis.   Numerous people use it for fishing, kayaking and canoeing, as well as some sailing.
